Dieter founded the international design fair BLICKFANG around 30 years ago. Back then, his idea made people shake their heads: to show a good mix of selected furniture, fashion and jewellery at a trade fair - something like that had never been done before and yet it has caught on. Because today "concept stores" with their carefully selected range are the place to go for anyone looking for carefully curated products for their home and wardrobe. And BLICKFANG has become the largest shopping platform for independently produced design in Europe.

By the way, independent design means that the designers themselves are responsible for their designs, from the initial idea to the finished product and sales at our trade fairs or in our online shop.

We at BLICKFANG believe in the value of new ideas and well-made products. We support designers from the very beginning with our trade fairs, our shop and our academy.
